Scootsie is a wonderful girl and we would love to see her find her forever home! She does enjoy playing and goes wild when she gets a new toy, especially when it has catnip in it! She would do great with a quieter home where she can take the time she needs to rest and recover. Scootsie is very sweet but a bit shy and needs a little help socializing. Due to this we are requesting a one level home or where the stairs can be blocked off so she does not have any access. Scootsie is now able to walk but still needs to take things easy and continue to recover. We weren’t sure she would survive but she fought hard and is now doing amazing! Meet Scootsie! Scootsie came to us back in July when she was found outside and unable to use her back legs, severely flea anemic and with an upper respiratory infection. So if you just would understand that and let me tell you when I want to cuddle next to you we are a perfect match! What do you think?! Am I the kitty for you?! I am ready if you are! I like to cuddle but on my terms and I do not like to be picked up. I love to play with all the toys and enjoy the cat tree and window seats. I currently live with my foster family who has shown me how great it is living in a home! I play with the other cats and I am okay around small dogs as long as they respect my space. Actually you would never know that there was a time I couldn’t walk. Get my name? The vet and the staff took great care of me and I walk just fine now. I was found about 5 months ago when I was still a small kitten and I was unable to use my back legs…so scooting around was my way of moving. Hi! Remember me? Scootsie is my name and I am still looking for the perfect home.
